Announcing the 2025 GALA Board of Directors

GALA is pleased to announce the results of the Board Elections for the 2025-2026 term. The GALA Board of Directors is comprised of seven volunteer members who are elected by the GALA membership to serve for a two-year term. Their mandate is to set the association's strategic direction.

There were fifteen highly qualified candidates running for four open positions. We are delighted to welcome the following four directors to the Board:

• Annelise Finegan (NYU School of Professional Studies)
• Daniela D'Amato (Creative Words)
• Jose Palomares (Coupa Software) [elected for second term]
• Viveta Gene (Ionian University)

They will be joining the following directors:

• Britta Aagaard (Semantix)
• Johan Sporre (IKEA Retail (Ingka Group))
• Paulo Pereira Guimarães (Inside Language Solutions)
