Flitto Highlights Arabic AI Data Expertise at Saudi-Korean Business Forum

Seoul, Jul. 31, 2024: Flitto (CEO Simon Lee, KOSDAQ 300080), an AI data solution provider and integrated language platform, announced that it showcased its Arabic language data-building capabilities during the Saudi-Korean Business Forum on June 30.

The Saudi-Korean Business Forum was organized by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in line with the visit of Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce, Majid Alkassabi. The event brought together high-ranking government officials and business leaders from both countries to discuss business collaboration opportunities.

At the forum, Flitto presented its advanced Arabic data-building technology, essential for AI training, to key institutions in Saudi Arabia. The company explored export opportunities and introduced its proprietary AI advancement technologies, including its ▲high-quality Arabic data-building platform; and ▲AI enhancement services that make use of the region’s images and speech data, to representatives from the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), including Rehab AlArfaj, Strategic Advisor and GM of Strategic Partnerships & Competitiveness.

Flitto also held consecutive meetings with other key organizations at the forum, such as the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) and the National Centre of Palms and Dates (NCPD), attracting recognition for the accuracy and speed of its AI-based real-time translation solution.

Saudi Arabia is currently focusing on digital transformation projects, including the construction of smart cities and the development of e-government systems, leading to an increasing demand for AI technologies such as Arabic speech recognition and natural language processing. Consequently, the importance of securing high-quality Arabic AI data is expected to grow significantly.
