EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (Translation and Interpreting preferred).
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Expertise in CAT tools.
- Prior experience as a multilingual translator and localization Project Manager, preferably in large international companies (at least 2 years).
LANGUAGES:
- Spanish.
- Catalan.
- English.
- German will be an advantage.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Customer oriented.
- Perseverance.
- Organizational skills and ability for remote working.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Flexible working hours.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Extensive use of the most relevant CAT Tools existing in the market. Knowledge of Wordbee is an asset.
- Extensive use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet browsers.
- Knowledge of software DTP and graphic design localization applications will be considered a plus.
- Experience in machine translation and speech recognition technologies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management according to the customer’s quality and deadline specifications.
- Point of contact between CPSL, customers and external collaborators in conjunction with KAM/BDM
- Analyse customer orders to understand the scope of requests.
- Contact the customer for any queries regarding the request and agree with sales when to copy the KAM in the communications.
- Prepare quotes in collaboration with other departments when required.
- If it is out of the ordinary or large, coordinate with KAM before and during the preparation of the quote.
- Contact the KAM when we quote exceeds 2000€/$ or it is deemed to be “special” before sending it to the client and whenever possible, before preparing the quote
- Plan and schedule projects; provide assessment and quotes; allocate resources according to budget, define schedule and quality parameters. Track project progress to ensure that quality, deliveries and cost stay on plan.
- Perform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Manage day-to-day relationship with client on project matters; provide regular status reports and where it necessary to proactively offer solutions in coordination with the KAM to ensure customer satisfaction. Facilitate effective communication within the project team (translators, engineers, etc.).
- Ensuring projects are carried out and delivered within the agreed deadlines, to the necessary standard of quality and with the target profit margin.
- Act as the first point of contact between the customer and CPSL for any matters related to confirmed projects.
- Register all the data of quotes and projects in our management programme.
- In the event of a customer complaint related to the project, follow the established Quality Management procedure.
- Promote good internal communication with Sales and other internal departments to provide strong team representation and meet client expectations.
- Ensure good customer experience throughout the projects.
- Attend meetings with clients together with sales and other departments when necessary.
- Ensure completion of all administrative processes (invoicing, open/close jobs, etc.).
- Participate in all relevant training provided by the company to be up to date with your role.
DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION SECURITY
- Understand, know and comply with the standards of information security established and legal requirements and, in any case, act according to the instructions received.
- Comply with the applicable procedures and internal guidelines.
- Provide suggestions and participate in the continuous improvement of the activities developed.
