Summary of the role

In your role as Quality Lead, you are responsible for:

• advocating account profitability mindset and managing account quality related risks. 
• monitoring the costs of quality-related project tasks and making sure that they are kept within the budget. 
• providing linguistic quality services to Argos project teams, suppliers and clients. 
• ensuring overall supplier quality performance within your accounts.
• advising the account teams on the best course of action following client escalations and following up with translation teams as needed. 
• actively contributing to the improvement of systems and procedures, identifying issues and propose solutions. 
• researching and deploying methods to improve quality and knowledge retention. 

Quality processes

• Design and implement quality management methodologies, special linguistic services (terminology management and maintenance, creation of style guides and definition of tone of voice). 
• Collaborate with project management employees to ensure regular quality control and evaluations of the suppliers, collection of quality data, their visualization. 
• Based on quality data analysis, define and implement corrective and preventive actions and drive continuous improvement. Proactively investigate client and internal review results and follow-up with suppliers on projects where quality expectations are not met. 
• Analyze quality issues and determine further actions through RCA; identify corrective actions to rectify immediate issues and design longterm plans with a view to achieving stable quality levels in assigned accounts. 

Qualifications

Education, skills, and experience

• Linguistic education (translation, language or linguistic studies). 
• 2–5 years in a quality management role in localization industry. 
• Proven experience in quality management. 
• Attention to detail and focus on quality. 
• Affinity for tools and language technology. 
• Excellent people and interpersonal skills. 
• Proven ability to multi-task and set priorities. 
• Superior written and spoken English.
