In this session, Giulia Panozzo will uncover the neuroscience behind customer behaviour, to better understand decision making at every stage of the funnel. In this talk, you will learn about attention mechanisms, cognitive biases and heuristics that guide decision making at every stage of the user’s journey, as well as the role of emotions in guiding customers' acquisition and retention. Giulia will illustrate some case studies on the topic, and address some ethical concerns and neuromyths that have been populating the world of marketing as well.

Giulia Panozzo
Giulia is an in-house Director of Customer Acquisition and a freelance neuromarketing consultant, having guided organic growth for some of the most prominent brands in travel, e-commerce and marketplaces (Expedia, StockX, RS Components).
Before landing on digital marketing, Giulia obtained a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Padua and worked on academic research published internationally, mainly on the topics of social and motor neuroscience via a number of neurovisualization and neuromodulation techniques (eye-tracking, EEG, TMS, tDCS, tRNS).
She now leverages her background to research customer behavior and organizational patterns that can drive growth for all, from small businesses to enterprise-level ventures, under her own consultancy, Neuroscientive.
Giulia is a regular speaker at international industry conferences, where she talks about consumer behavior, cognitive neuroscience in marketing and data analytics.
