While most people believe that the internet and all its benefits are global and available to all, this is not a reality for almost 3 billion people according to recent research by Common Sense Advisory.

  • What will it take to get the next billion users connected and active?
  • Is it just a matter of data or is there more?
  • What is needed to digitally enable and empower people who communicate in these minority languages?
  • Do these marginal populations have the clout to convince Big Tech to facilitate and enable access?

This session will discuss the issues and explore potential solutions and opportunities.

Host organization: MasterWord Services, Inc
