Creative Words launches first publicly available AI course tailored for linguists

Creative Words, a boutique language service provider based in Italy, announced the launch of the first AI course created by linguists specifically for linguists. The course covers essential topics such as an introduction to large language models (LLMs), generative AI, best practices for linguists, AI content post-editing, and AI content review. The course is currently available in English, with an Italian version coming soon, and can be accessed for free on Creative Words' elearning platform, CW ELAB.

“Originally, the idea sparked during an event for translators back in April, where many voiced their need for such a course” said Diego Cresceri, CEO of Creative Words. " Many translators are living challenging times, let's face it. I wanted a course to help them better understand and leverage new technology in a tool-independent way. To me, this is more than just a course; it’s a project of support, a project of empathy."
